You are encouraged to personalise your space. You can use magnets to fix posters pictures etc to the walls or ceiling. This avoids the 'fines' for using Blu-tack and drawing pins etc. As long as you leave your room how you found it there won't be any problems. Only fair.
All rooms are ensuite with a shower, toilet and wash hand basin. The showers are legendary; powerful and warm... perfect.
Each room has: En-suite 'legendary' shower, toilet and sink, single bed, desk, fitted wardrobe, fitted drawers and bookcase
WiFi connections can vary by residence and location, however all colleges will have high-speed internet connections available. Speak to your accommodation officer for more details.
You shouldn't do - all of our rooms are fully equipped with beds, wardrobes and drawers - which should hopefully meet all your storage needs. It's probably best to move in first and if in a couple of weeks you find you're running out of space then consider getting some extra storage.
As long as you remember to lock it, it should be completely safe. Each room has its own unique lock and key. Many developments also employ staff to monitor and protect students and buildings.
The simple answer is no. Parties are not permitted in rooms because they were not designed for this purpose. If rooms were accidentally damaged you would end up being charged for it.

Bicycles are allowed on campus but cannot be kept in your room/flat. There are a number of bicycle racks located around campus.
Check with your accommodation officer. Launderettes are often located on campus for residents to use.
Students are strongly advised to obtain insurance for their personal belongings.
If you watch or record television programmes as they are being shown on TV – whether online, on a TV or any other device, you require a TV Licence
As a student you are exempt from paying council tax. Your university will provide you with an exemption form at enrolment.

Yes. As there are already students living within the halls of residence, viewings are limited to open days when particular residences and rooms are available.
